EDUCATION & TRAINING:
There are various study options &subjects in this field. It can be studied through under grads ,post grads or distance learning programme as a fulltime or part time course. It is divided into various modules. Training is provided according to levels like this EMT-Basic (EMT-1); EMT-Intermediate (EMT-2 and EMT-3); and EMT-Paramedic (EMT-4). PARAMEDIC TECHNICAL CERTIFICATE COURSE:
The particular course of study is meant for Emergency Medical Services personnel who have current license as Tennessee Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and wish to obtain paramedic licensure as a competent entry level Paramedic.The course duration for this is one year. After being accepted into the program, the student gain competencies in classroom lab skills, actual clinical application with patient contacts under the supervision of a trained pre-hospital and hospital preceptor.
Admission Requirement:
